We’ve spent the last five years telling clients that most marketing sucks because very little thought or strategy goes into it. Whenever we say this in front of a marketing audience, of course, we get booed.

So it’s nice to see someone else say it. And not just anyone – New York-based Aussie David Droga, founder of Droga5, one of the hottest agencies in the world.

According to AdNews, he urges agencies and marketers to “stop polluting with shit advertising”, adding that it is the 90% of advertising that is formulaic and shit that gives the industry a bad name.

We agree.
